Dear Clients

This message is to bring you up to speed with our current response to the Coronavirus outbreak, and to let you know that we have developed contingency plans and risk assessments at this moment in time.  Our position is aligned with the government’s delay policy, and also takes into account the needs of our staff to stay safe whilst performing their jobs, keep you safe, and provide as normal a level of service as possible for the good of our patients. We would also ask you to adhere to the government’s guidelines around self-isolation if you are sick, and let us know ASAP so we can cancel your appointment.  We have suspended our 7 day cancellation policy during this period for those self-isolating.

Coming into the Clinic

At the present time, appointments at the clinic are going ahead as normal.

We will be asking you to wash your hands on arrival or use a hand sanitiser. We have increased our usual hygiene measures within the clinic.  Please be patient if your appointment is delayed by a few minutes whilst we undertake the additional cleaning protocols between patients.

Therapists or patients showing signs or symptoms (new persistent cough or fever) of COVID 19 are asked to self-isolate at home for 7 days.  Please ring the clinic to make us aware and contact NHS 111 if your symptoms worsen and you are concerned.

It is our intention to keep providing the high level of service our clients expect from us throughout the pandemic.  If the government moves to the mitigate phase we have developed a separate set of contingency plans to cover our duty of care to our patients.

We will publish an update with any changes to our internal policies, any developments or changes in process in line with the governmental policy change.
